TJ Tomasi began racing in 2015 at just 7 years old in quarter midgets. He quickly worked his way through the ranks, competing in Jr. Honda and Jr. Animal in 2016, followed by Light 160 and Sr. Animal in 2017 and 2018.
In 2019, the team downsized to one car and had a breakout season, winning 9 races and capturing both the track and local championships. The following year, the team returned to running two cars in Sr. Animal and World Formula, earning multiple wins in both divisions.
In 2021, the focus shifted back to a single car in Heavy 160, resulting in 4 wins and another local championship. The momentum continued in 2022 with a two-car program in World Formula and Heavy 160, highlighted by a local championship in World Formula.
The 2023 season marked TJ’s final year in quarter midgets, running select World Formula races and earning 4 wins. In 2024, TJ made his SK Light Modified debut during the Thompson World Series.
In 2025, TJ competed in six SK Light Modified races, with five starts at Thompson and one at Waterford. Despite missing two events, the team delivered strong performances, earning a best finish of 6th and ending the season 10th in points.
